sports training matter?
A significant benefit of sports training is that it assists in increasing a person’s overall health. A healthy body means that the mind is also healthy. Actually, improving in any types of sport directly translates to an improvement in school.
There are three gyms available. Gym #1 & #3 have full court volleyball courts with in-ground pole net system. This space is ideal for team practice or scrimmages. Gym #2 is a half court volleyball court with a portable net system. This space is ideal for volleyball training and small practice groups.
There are two gyms available. Gym #1 & #3 have full court basketball courts with 4 goals available. This space is ideal for team practices or scrimmages. Gym #2 is a half-court basketball court with 3 goals available. This space is ideal for trainers, players and teams. We also have a Shooting Gun available for rent by the hour.
There is a 14X50 turf softball hitting cage with a pitching machine available. This space is ideal for hitting or pitching practice and training.
We have 2 courts in Gym 3 and 1 court in Gym 1 available to reserve for your group. The courts will have net system provided for your booking. You will bring your own racquet and balls for play.
Trainers we Trust
Teresa Wynn, a former “D1” Volleyball Player, has coached competitive club teams and trained
volleyball players of all ages and levels for the past 14 years. Teresa is currently the head volleyball
coach of Oklahoma Blaze which has earned a Nation bid the last two seasons. Teresa continues to train
volleyball players year-round with a focus on teaching players proper technique of all volleyball skills
and to instill a competitive mindset when approaching the game

Doug & Kayce Nelson
Owners of D1 Gyms
Doug Nelson has been a coach, educator and administrator in the Tulsa area for over 30 years. Kayce Nelson has been a CPA and business owner for over 25 years. Doug and Kayce built D1 Gyms to serve coaches, teams and athletes in the Tulsa and Rogers County area. They are the parents of 4 daughters that have competed in basketball, volleyball, softball and track over the past 20+ years. The goal is to provide a safe and clean facility for athletes to train, improve and succeed.
